Birbhum Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Birbhum is established with a mission to impart quality professional/ technical education to students inculcating in them leadership attitude, enterpreneurship, ethical values, social responsibilities so as to contribute to the technological, economical and social development of the region and the vision of the college is to create an institution for higher technical education, dedicated to the cause of developing professionals. Institute is being selected for the TEQIP II project and also state govt. funded the institute.

Boys Hostel: The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The institute provides boarding facilities to the students which give us a grand opportunity to maintain regular and close contact with our students. Library: The college Library for the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has the distinction of being the largest resourceful technical library among the present departmental libraries of the institute with more than one thousand-odd volumes. The library successfully caters to all the basic information needs of faculty members and students of the department. The library has books pertaining to all subjects in the present course curriculum of the students including Analog, Digital & Wireless Communication; VLSI, CMOS technology, VHDL; Optical N/W; Control Systems; Measurement and Instrumentation including Bio-Medical Instrumentation; Electromagnetic Theory, Antenna Theory, Microwave, and Radar Communication; Microprocessors, Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems; Solid State Devices, Analog and Digital Electronics and Signal Systems and DSP. The library also has focused books for GATE preparation for the students of the final year. Apart from Indian publishers like S. Chand & Co. Ltd.; University Press; B.S.Publication.; Scitech Publications (India) Pvt Ltd; New Age International, PHI Pvt. Ltd., Dhanpat Rai & Co., Pearson; S Kataria & Sons, the library has books from foreign authors and publishers like John Wiley, Springer, Thompson, Oxford University Press, Cambridge, and Mc Graw Hill to name a few. The library is kept operational on all working days and maintained by a dedicated Faculty-In-Charge, HOD, and a supporting staff of the department. The library has provisions for both reading and lending.
Cafeteria: The institute runs dedicated canteens and cafeteria facilities for staff and students at a subsidized rate. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are being served by multiple canteens. The institute believes in good hygienic and healthy food for all.
IT Infrastructure: The college Central Computing facility is equipped with high-end Computers and the most advanced equipment is available on the Institutional premises.
Classrooms: Classrooms are very spacious, airy & equipped with the latest PA system & Modern Ceramic Board. Separate tutorial rooms are also available for special classes. Model classrooms are fitted with LCD projectors.
Laboratorie: The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
Bank Facilities: The college has Banks/ATM facilities for all students.
Auditorium: The college A well-equipped Seminar Room with a seating capacity of about 180 serves the requirements of weekly Seminars, periodic Workshops, and various other orientation programs that are held from time to time.
Medical/Hospital: A college is a Medical Unit with an arrangement for indoor treatment of the patients. The medical unit is served by one doctor and other medical staff round the clock. The students and the staff with their family members are benefited from the services of the Medical Unit. For any specialized treatment, the patients are referred to the State Government Hospital situated near the campus at Suri city, or some Advanced Medical Centres.
Wifi: The college has a fully Wi-Fi Enabled Campus. Dedicated Computing centers with advanced computers.
Sports: The college has sports facilities for all students.
