Cafeteria: The college has several canteens inside the campus for its students and faculty members. Some of these canteens are exclusively students canteen. In the college, a faculty canteen is located in the teachers’ common room. Several departmental canteens are also available to meet the needs of staff members.
Gym: The college has facilities and infrastructure that includes a well-maintained multigym for students where they can increase their strength and fitness level. Two well-qualified trainers have been appointed to help them in choosing the proper training regime.
Library: The college has a Central library that contains multiple copies of text and reference books in relevant subjects taught in the college. The library has a wide range of reference books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, trade and other directories, government publications, World Bank publications, etc. The collection of newspapers and periodicals covers current affairs and a wide range of subjects in the library. City College, Kolkata has a large collection of books and journals in the library.
Sports: The college has various sports facilities on the campus for the students. City College Kolkata sports facilities include playgrounds for playing outdoor games such as cricket, badminton, and football. There are indoor games facilities for games like carrom, chess and table tennis. City College, Kolkata participates in various sports tournaments organized by Calcutta University as well as by state-level sports bodies like CAB, IFA, WBTTA, State Sports and Games championships, etc.
Auditorium: The college has a proposal to build a soundproof air-conditioned auditorium-cum-seminar hall on the ground floor of the building, where all modern facilities will be available to conduct seminars, lectures, presentations, film shows, and other functions.
Medical/Hospital: The college has a tie-up with Students’ Health Home that provides medical benefits to the students at a normal charge and the college also provides emergency medical support to its students and staff members.
IT Infrastructure: The college has a well-equipped computer center and the computers are all up to date in terms of software and hardware. Each computer comes equipped with internet access. Through a network, each computer also has printing and scanning facilities. Students can also use the computer center to surf the internet, practice, and prepare their projects.
Alumni Associations: The college has an alumni association for student activities.
