MCKV Institute of Engineering (MCKVIE) is a private engineering college that was established in 1999. It is associated with and approved by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The college provides undergraduate and graduate degree courses in engineering and management. MCKVIE's flagship courses include B.Tech in 9 disciplines and M.Tech in Electronics & Communication. Additional courses offered by the institute include a B.Voc degree with three specializations and an MBA degree with four specializations. Entrance to B.Tech courses is based on WBJEE or JEE Mains performance, however genuine GATE or PGET scores are necessary for M.Tech admission. Applicants with a Diploma in Engineering or a B.Sc can apply for Lateral Entry into the B.Tech course by taking the JELET and scoring a valid score.
