Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Education, started in 1950, is a premier institution of higher education located near the city of Coimbatore. It is a unit of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, which is spread over an area of 300 acres. This institution was the first Autonomous College of Education in India and is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai and accredited with A+ grade by NAAC. The courses offered by the College are recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.
