For the MA program, 60% of the total number of seats are earmarked for the University of Calcutta students only. The admission for this 60% will be on the basis of merit on graduation marks.The remaining 40% of the seats are offered to non-University of Calcutta students who have to appear for the university entrance exam and admissions are offered on the basis of the merit list prepared by the college.
